Everybody keeps saying search! search! but folks need to recognize that the simple search tool on this site gives very narrowly focused results to your keywords --not context. That's by design too so the most relevant results always peculate to the top . It's easy to overlook significant history with regard to specific members or businesses unless the keywords (and issues you're interested in) match exactly a thread with significant history. But that's not too likely and in that respect the search! search! tool fails.
The easiest way around this is simply to keep up with what's going on day-to-day... although I know that's not always convenient either.
